Shop for antiques and handicrafts. Why not come in October for the Indy 500 car races? How about visiting in spring for the Floriade Festival to see a great show of flowers? Holiday brochures and websites make suggestions about what is good to do and see. To make suggestions we can use: • imperative forms of the verb (e.g. visit, shop) • “should” (e.g. should visit, should drop) But we can also use: • Why not ....... (for example: Why not visit ......?) • How about ...... (for example: How about visiting?) Look Why not visit go to see How about visiting going to seeing Examples 1.
