GAME Concentration
Play Concentration and see how good your memory is!
1. Your teacher will give you a set of cards.
2. Mix up the cards and place them face down on the table.
3. Turn over two cards. If you have a match, take the cards and try again.
4. If the cards don’t match, turn them back over and let the next person try.
5. The student who has the most cards at the end of the game is the winner.

When someone is telling a story there are many strategies we use to keep the
conversation going.
1. Commenting and giving feedback
Ming and Lucas say:
Lucas: Well, I just hung on for dear life. I was terrified. I had never gone
so fast on a horse before. And there were lots of people on the
beach…
Ming: Oh! Sounds dangerous.
When someone is telling a story it is polite to let them know we are listening. We
comment on what they have said, to show we are listening. This is called giving
feedback.
