VOCABULARY Pairs crossword
1. Your teacher will give you and your partner a crossword.
2. Look at the crossword. You each have a different half of the puzzle.
3. Look at the words in the crossword and write some clues for these words.
4. When you have finished writing the clues, read them out to your partner.
Your partner will try to guess the word and write it in the correct space.
Example:
Student A: What’s 1 across?
Student B: It’s a kind of art often made with clay or marble.
Student B: What’s 3 down?
Student A: It’s the name for clothes that performers wear.
