WRITING Crime and punishment In pairs, you will make your own version of the activity above. 1. Think of a crime, for example a murder. 2. Write down seven to ten steps in the crime, including how the criminal was caught and his or her punishment. Write each step on a new line with spaces between the lines. 3. Cut the sentences apart and mix them up. Example: The murderer saw his victim walking along a dark street at night He followed her until they reached a park. He came up behind her and held a knife to her throat. 4. Give your sentences to another pair. They have to put the sentences into the correct order. 5.
