Think about how to describe the object in your picture without naming it. Say what it’s made of, what it looks like and what it’s used for. Example: It’s made mostly of plastic. It’s quite small and has buttons and a screen. It’s usually quiet but sometimes noisy. It’s used for communicating with people who are some distance away. 2. Ask other students the number of their picture and ask them to describe it to you. 3. Write down what you think the object is beside the number in the table. There are 20 pictures (numbers 2 to 21 inclusive). Example: 1 Mobile phone 4. Describe your object to other students. Don’t show them your picture. You will check your answers when you have finished.
