Read the words. If they sound the same, you have a match. Put the cards to one side. Take two more cards. 4. If the cards don’t match, turn them back over and let the next person try. 5. The winner is the person who has the most cards at the end of the game. PRACTICE Homonyms Now make sentences with the cards. 1. Working in a group, shuffle the same set of cards. 2. The first person picks up a card and makes a sentence using the word on the card. 3. The other group members decide if the sentence is correct. • If the sentence is correct, the person gets two points. • If the sentence is incorrect, the person doesn’t get any points. 4.
