GAME
Your teacher will give everyone a card. Half of the class will have a phrasal verb.
The other half of the class will have a meaning for the phrasal verb.
1. Stand up and move around the class.
2. Try to find your partner.
3. When you find them sit down and write a sentence using the phrasal verb.
GAME - Dominoes
You are going to play a game called dominoes. You will have to match phrasal
verbs with their meanings. Your teacher will divide you into groups.
1. You will each start with 5 dominos
2. Player A place your first domino face up on the table.
3. The player on the left can put down one of their dominoes if it matches
one of the ends of the domino. For example if this domino is on the table
WRITE DOWN / CONTINUE TO DO SOMETHING, then Player B can use a
domino with GET ON WITH/ RETURN A PHONE CALL or a domino with
MAKE A LIST/ TAKE OFF
4. If you can’t put down a domino then pick up a domino from the pile.
5. The winner is the first person to use up all their dominoes.
