Customer: I’m sorry, I asked for a bottle of wine 20 minutes ago.
Waiter: I’ll get that immediately.
Customer: Could you also bring me a glass of water?
Waiter: Of course. Can I get you anything else?
Customer: No. That’s all thanks.

Waiter: Are you happy with your meal?
Customer: Umm actually no. My food is a bit cold and my glass is dirty.
Waiter: Oh! I apologise for that. Here’s another glass. I’ll take your meal back
to the kitchen.
Customer: That would be great.

Customer: Err … excuse me. It’s cold here. Could we move to another table?
Waiter: Certainly. Hmm. You are very close to the door. How about that table
near the window?
Customer: Mmmm OK, thanks. That looks much better.
Waiter: Let me help you move.
GAME - Cards

2. Make a 5-6 line dialogue with the person on your left.
3. Remember to make polite complaints.

Your classmate is always

You can’t hear anything.
A: Excuse me.
B: Yes
A: Could you be quiet please. I can’t hear what the teacher is saying.
B: I’m sorry! I didn’t realise.
A: That’s OK.
