It was fantastic!  b) Dolly the sheep has been a major focus of interest in recent years.  LANGUAGE FOCUS 05 Reference This activity shows how to refer back to ideas you have already mentioned in your report. This is called "reference". When we write a report, we often refer back to something or someone we have already written about. Reference is one of the ways we give our texts cohesion - that is, link our sentences together and make them one whole text. Here are some common ways we refer back to things already mentioned.
