PRACTICE 03 Letters of complaint
Here is another letter of complaint, this time from Mr Wilson.
1. Look at the body of Mr. Wilson’s letter. Some parts are missing.
2. Look at the words and phrases following the letter.

___________________________ the lack of service at your Sydney store. I visited
the store last Thursday, January 23 to pick up some equipment I had ordered and

________________ there was no one at the service counter and I had to knock on
the staff door to get someone’s attention.
Secondly, when I finally did get your staff person’s attention, he was extremely
rude! He made me feel as if I was interrupting him. And his manner was very
casual, as if he didn’t care at all.

asked when it might be coming in, he told me that he didn’t know.

This lack of service is completely unacceptable. I have been a customer of yours
