Oh, I felt disappointed. I thought it would be better.
2. Did you go to the lecture?
Yes, I did. It made me very angry. I didn't agree with the speaker at all.
3. That test was difficult, wasn't it?
Yes. I was shocked when I saw how difficult it was.
4. What did she think of the music?
It made her feel very calm and peaceful.
5. How are your classes?
Oh I am tired of them. They are very boring.
2. Verbs
Claudia says:
Claudia: … the audience loved them.
Jackie says:
Jackie: … I enjoyed watching the audience..
Claudia uses loved to describe the audience's emotional response to the Backstreet
Boys.
Jackie uses enjoyed to describe her emotional response to the audience.
We can use verbs like love, enjoy, like, hate, to describe our emotional responses
(how we feel). We use didn't mind when we don't have strong positive or negative
feelings about something.
